SleekSleeves Provides Custom Sleeves to amfAR’s Inspiration Gala for Menswear Runway Show

SleekSleeves Custom New York City Subway Arm Sleeves

New York, NY, June 12, 2014 - SleekSleeves, a specialty retailer of accessories, provided custom sleeves to the amfAR Inspiration Gala runway show presented by M·A·C Viva Glam and held at The Plaza in New York City on June 10th. The Inspiration Series has been raising funds for AIDS research, with the support of designers, performers, actors and the fashion community since its inaugural event in 2010.

The 2014 Inspiration New York event, hosted by Josh Duhamel, held a runway show to celebrate men’s style featuring the year’s design “Inspiration” theme -- Prints. SleekSleeves’ line of accessories, with 18 patterns and vibrant colors, aligned perfectly with the show’s theme. With a mission to help individuals Look Good * Feel Better, SleekSleeves is dedicated to supporting cure research whenever possible.

New York City fashion stylist and lead stylist for the Inspiration Gala’s runway show, William Graper, sought out SleekSleeves for its style, originality and ability to tailor accessories to align with the custom-designed looks included in the show.

“We’re thrilled to have provided sleeves for William and the runway show,” said Katie Burke of SleekSleeves. “The sleeves add panache to the runway and are also an up-and-coming style accessory.”

Sixteen different patterns, including five custom fabrics, in four of the SleekSleeves models were included. The new prints included the NYC subway system map, a black and white chevron print, an urban graffiti print, traditional polka dots and a grey-scale smoky print.
